As well as all this Mike has recently published his Autobiography “Oh I remember him” Available on Amazon or via his own web site www.mikemcclean.co.uk
However its for his stand up comedy and his razor sharp wit and not forgetting his ability to read minds that he is now best known.
He is without doubt one of the funniest Comedy Mind readers on the circuit. Whatever you do don't miss his one off show and don't sit too near the front, remember he can read minds.
Well so he says,.
Having been made homeless on four separate occasions as a child in between living in substandard council houses, Joseph knows the pain felt first hand from the lack of good quality affordable housing and has made it his life’s mission to make sure no child has to grow up in the conditions he did.
He went on to gain 6 online degrees, including mechanical engineering, software design, AR, VR and website design before founding modular house builder and offsite construction specialist Project Etopia in 2015 at the tender age of just 23 - with the aim to provide a turnkey solution to solving the housing crisis in the UK and around the world.
Project Etopia now creates high-end and affordable smart homes using a panelised build system, which means wall panels are manufactured off-site in a factory before being transported to site for assembly and all come with energy generation and smart energy technology.
In addition to being the youngest person to build not one but two schools in the UK, Joe made history in May 2019 by delivering the first energy positive shanty town replacement in Namibia. The building was 61sqm costing £25,000 and was built in 4 hours with 6 untrained, illiterate workers while also being energy positive with basic smart home technology (lights and energy monitoring).
Joseph is already making huge waves in the construction industry. In addition to being one of only three developers building for the 2050 EU & BEIS initiative on the next generation of housing, the Project Etopia build system is pioneering a new global MMC accreditation with the BRE. Called BPS7014, the show home opened in September 2019 in the BRE’s Innovation Park and will be rolled out with BRE globally, with locations already confirmed in Saudi Arabia, USA, India and Pakistan. Joseph will be the first global modular builder by 2020 to have built on 5 continents.
